Asset names:
When uploading through the integrated uploaders in RealityCapture, Metashape, or 3DF Zephyr, make sure not to include special characters in the asset name. Special characters are symbols that aren't alphanumeric. They include !"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[]^_`{|}~ and characters with accents or other diacritics.
Try a different file format:
You may also try using different file formats. Although Nira supports many, we currently recommend using .obj files for geometry. For more tips on how to prepare your files for uploading to Nira, see Useful tips before your asset upload and the Prepare your asset files section of our documentation.
Corrupt files:
Your files might be corrupted. To verify, try opening them with a desktop viewer such as CloudCompare if possible.
Metashape:
We have identified a bug with the integrated Nira uploader in Metashape version 2.1.1.17821 and earlier. If you encounter any issues, please update your version of Metashape.
It's our fault:
In rare cases, there may be an issue with our upload processing engine on certain files. If you'd like assistance with a failed upload, please feel free to reach out to us. We're happy to help.
