Currently, it’s not possible to delete files from an asset in Nira, but this feature is planned for a future release. In the meantime, here are a few workarounds:
1. The easiest method to exclude files from an asset is to re-upload the asset, omitting the files you wish to exclude. Nira will automatically skip files already on the server to speed up the process. However, this will result in having to redo all callouts or measurements. For Enterprise plans, you can import and export Callout data so this might not be an issue. Please contact us for assistance if you're interested in upgrading.
2. For certain files, you can hide them in Edit Mode by selecting the objects and pressing the 'h' hotkey or using the eye icon next to the object name. Note that for high resolution mesh objects, this isn’t recommended, as hidden objects may still cause delays when loading the asset.
3. For photos, you can prevent them from appearing by modifying and re-uploading the camera calibration files. The calibration files will be either in XML or CSV format.
