It is only possible to deactivate a user, it is not possible to delete a user from your account. We intentionally designed Nira to discourage user deletion, allowing you to better track activities such as file uploads, data deletions, and comments from all users, past and present. Deactivating a user will have the same effect: revoking that user's access to all of your organization's private assets. All the assets they have uploaded or modified will remain accessible to other members of the organization with access privileges.
To Deactivate a User:
- Log in to your Nira account.
- Click on the three lines icon in the top left corner to access the left sidebar.
- On the left sidebar, click on "Users."
- Find the person you want to deactivate and click "Edit".
- Toggle the "Deactivate User" switch.
- Save the change
Once deactivated, the individual won't be able to log in or access any of your organization's private assets. You can re-enable their access at any time by flipping the "Deactivate User" switch to off.
Account credit:
Once deactivated, you will no longer be billed for the user in future billing cycles. You’ll earn a prorated amount based on the remaining time in your current monthly or yearly billing period. Prorated amounts are calculated down to the second that you made the change.
