RealityScan App Key configuration (Formerly RealityCapture)

1. First, sign in to your Nira organization. New to Nira?  Sign up

2. After logging in, click the hamburger button in the upper left corner and scroll down and click on the "App Keys" button...

4. Click the Add an app key button in the center of the page. If you already have app keys, the Add button will be in the upper-right corner of the page.

5. In the dialog that appears, select Choose an application > RealityScan from the dropdown.

6. Click the Create button.

7. A dialog will appear showing your app key information. Copy and paste the Org, Key ID, and Key Secret from the dialog into the RealityScan Nira Authentication APP key dialog:

Note, the RealityScan Nira Authentication APP key dialog can be found in RealityScan by clicking Share > Upload to Nira:

Choose a unique Model Name.

You have the option to choose to enable photos and camera positions, as well as to use the local UTM Zone coordinate system. Opting for UTM will ensure your asset is georeferenced within Nira.

Nira offers support for numerous coordinate systems if you prefer using a different one. Disable the "Use UTM Zone..." checkbox so that RealityScan will upload the asset to Nira using the Output coordinate system you picked within the Application settings (see screenshot below).

Example project using EPSG: 2285.   Please note that 2285, as shown in the screenshot, is just an example. Ensure that you use the specific coordinate system relevant to the site you captured.
