Session timeout and Resume
Why a model pauses after 5 minutes without activity, and how Resume returns you to the same view with your panels still open.

If a model sits open with no activity for 5 minutes, Nira pauses the viewing session. Click Resume to continue from where you were: the same view, with the same panels open.
When a session pauses
A session pauses after 5 minutes without activity. Moving the mouse anywhere over the page counts as activity, and so do clicks, scrolling and key presses in the 3D view. The 5-minute limit is the same for every workspace.
About 30 seconds before the pause, the page dims and shows Are you still there? Press here to continue. Click it, or move the mouse over the page, to keep the session running.
A model left in a background browser tab, or behind another application, gets no mouse movement, so it pauses after 5 minutes. Typing in a text field, such as a long annotation, does not count as activity on its own, so move the mouse now and then while you type.
When the session pauses, this message appears:

What Resume restores
Click Resume and Nira reopens the model and returns you to where you were. The page does not reload.
Camera: the same position and viewing direction.
Tool: the tool you had selected, such as measuring or walk mode.
Display settings: which objects and layers are visible, render and lighting settings, clipping, and point cloud settings.
Open panels: the Layers panel, annotation details, the photo viewer and other panels stay open as you left them.
The model loads again from the start, so expect about the same wait as when you first opened it.
Saved annotations, measurements and other work are stored in Nira, so a pause never loses them.
Exit reloads the page and opens the model with a fresh view.
